I gained a BA (Hons) Art & Design  from the University of Essex in 2007.  I studied glass under Rosella Chester in Colchester from 2005-2008.

I enjoy working in glass because the process includes a highly structured approach, with random interaction of the  elements of construction as the glass melts.  The nature of glass has a three dimensional quality and when fired at high temperatures, creates a surprise every time the kiln is opened.  This serendipitous action means that every firing creates a totally unique piece of art work, which has depth of colour and texture.
